Chad N. Warner
Student Associate
Chad Warner is a law student with a focus in coursework related to intellectual property, namely trademarks and copyright law.
Mr. Warner attended the University of Maryland and received his bachelor’s degree in political science.
Mr. Warner, currently a part-time student at the Columbus School of Law, was a legal extern at Staas & Halsey LLP, and looks forward to graduating in December 2024 and leveraging his experience and education to make a positive impact in the intellectual property field.
Mr. Warner focuses on trademark prosecution, legal research and drafting legal memoranda in trademark and copyright law, and assists with administrative and procedural aspects of patent and trademark prosecution.
Mr. Warner was motivated by his experience at Staas & Halsey to pursue academic opportunities at various law schools, choosing to remain close to Washington D.C. with the aim of collaborating and building relationships within the intellectual property community.
Mr. Warner is an avid supporter of his alma mater, University of Maryland, and enjoys attending athletic events with his family. Mr. Warner also enjoys being surrounded by nature and bird-watching from his backyard.
