Sang Chul Kwon is a patent agent with the Washinton, D.C. law firm of Staas & Halsey LLP. He has worked as an electrical engineer in the areas of color printers and has work experience as a patent engineer at the IP Team of Samsung Electronics, Co. Ltd. Mr. Kwon has been involved in licensing programs related to MPEG technology, PVRs, DVDPs, and MP3 Players. He also has experience in searching, preparing, and prosecuting patent applications and in licensing areas for electrical and computer engineering, including MPEG technology, Networking technology, Digital TV, personal video recorders, DVD players, MP3 players, and analog and digital circuitry.

Mr. Kwon has an electrical engineering degree (B.S.) from Kyungpook National University, Korea and an Intellectual Property degree (M.S.) from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. He is also recognized to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Outside of the office, Mr. Kwon enjoys playing golf.
