*Limited to matters and proceedings before federal courts and agencies, including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Sameer Vadera is an associate with the Washington, D.C. law firm of Staas & Halsey LLP. Prior to joining Staas & Halsey, Mr. Vadera served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lori Joy Eisner at the General Master's Office of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. During law school, Mr. Vadera was an Articles Editor of the Maryland Law Review. He was also a summer associate at a boutique intellectual property law firm and a legal intern for Monster Cable Products, Inc. Mr. Vadera focused his coursework on Patent Law, Copyright Law, Trademark Law, and International Intellectual Property Arbitration. Mr. Vadera earned an electrical engineering degree (B.S.) from the University of California, Irvine and a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Maryland School of Law. In addition, he is currently earning a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California through the Distance Education Network. Mr. Vadera has limited recognition to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice in California. He is also a member of the Eta Kappa Nu Engineering Honors Society. Outside of the office, Mr. Vadera enjoys traveling, golf, and skiing. |
