Michael J. Badagliacca Washington, District of Columbia
Michael Badagliacca was born in Suffern, New York in 1972. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 1993, and a Juris Doctor cum laude from Pepperdine University in 1996, where he was Associate Editor for the Law Review. Mr. Badagliacca is admitted to practice in New York and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. During law school, Mr. Badagliacca worked as a Patent Agent for a major aerospace corporation and prepared and prosecuted patent applications relating to electronic circuits, electric motors, foil bearings, fuel cells, heat exchangers and aircraft control systems. He also worked as a civilian patent attorney for the Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, where he evaluated invention disclosures, drafted patent applications in the fields of aircraft simulators and human eye simulators, searched prior art and advised general attorneys in all intellectual property areas. Mr. Badagliacca also worked at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a trademark examining attorney.
