Mehdi D. Sheikerz Washington, District of Columbia
Mehdi Sheikerz was born in Vienna, Austria in 1965. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1988, a Juris Doctor degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1996 and a Master in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1996. Mr. Sheikerz is admitted to practice in the state of Florida, the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Sheikerz is a member of professional association of the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Association. Before attending law school, Mr. Sheikerz developed telecommunication messaging system software for Computer Sciences Corporation and Potomac Scheduling. Mr. Sheikerz was also a Lotus Notes consultant for Personal Computer Consultants. After his legal education, Mr. Sheikerz worked in a Florida law firm, specializing in technology transactions and intellectual property matters. Mr. Sheikerz prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the computer software arts, prepares and prosecutes trademark applications and has experience in drafting and negotiating technology and Internet related licensing transactions.
