Mehdi Sheikerz was born in Vienna, Austria in 1965. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1988, a Juris Doctor degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1996 and a Master in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1996. Mr. Sheikerz is admitted to practice in the state of Florida, the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Sheikerz is a member of professional association of the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Association.

Mr. Sheikerz handles all aspects of patent procurement from advising clients in establishing a patent program to preparing and obtaining both US and foreign patents in the field of computer software and computer-related technologies. Mr. Sheikerz has extensive experience with appeals before the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Mr. Sheikerz handles post patent issuance matters with the USPTO including Ex Parte Reexaminations, Inter Partes Reexaminations and Patent Reissues.

Mr. Sheikerz industry experience includes developing telecommunication messaging system software for Computer Sciences Corporation and Potomac Scheduling a telecommunication messaging consulting company. Mr. Sheikerz industry experience also includes Lotus Notes consulting.
